WSSI’s Director – Hampton Roads, Bob Kerr, PWD, VSWD, SPWS helped lead Willcox Savage‘s March 12 session of their Spring 2024 Business Solutions Series with Willcox Savage attorneys Lisa M. Murphy and Gregory D. Lydon.
The seminar, which was provided in person and online, was titled Navigating Wetlands Issues: Sackett v. EPA May Mean You Have More Developable Land. The session provided an analysis of the impact of Sackett v. EPA on development projects nationwide, including new rulemaking by the EPA and the Corps of Engineers, which attempts to conform the existing “Waters of the United States” definition to the holding in Sackett, which limits the agencies’ ability to regulate isolated wetlands.
