Trees are valued for their ecological, aesthetic, and even cultural/historical contributions to the landscape. When land-use goals pose a potential risk for trees, WSSI’s consulting arborists are called to help projects meet local ordinance requirements and client needs and goals.

In order to prioritize our client’s tree preservation goals, we discuss their vision and implement it as a driving force in our planning and execution for their site. WSSI’s team actively inventories trees, studies root systems, and utilizes technology such as TRU™ (Tree Radar Unit) System to identify the best ways to maintain the integrity of the site while aligning with project objectives. These observations help us to create and design plans for the landscape while determining regulatory and permitting needs that will assist in meeting client goals and preserving and protecting appropriate trees within the project.
