Our staff have performed hundreds of investigations on behalf of state and local governments, land owners, lenders, and potential buyers for sites.
Does your site need one?
Phase I ESA are typically performed on property that is subject to a transfer of land ownership. If Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs) are identified during the performance of the Phase I ESA, a Phase II ESA may be required. Phase II ESAs often involve multimedia environmental assessment for presence or absence of contamination in the soil and the groundwater beneath the site.
There’s no one better in the field!
We have considerable experience incorporating the required elements of the ASTM E1527-20 & the All Appropriate Inquiry Rule (AAI) for single property/parcel assessments. We also understand and have considerable experience with the modified approaches that are necessary for the successful completion of roadway improvement projects. Our staff meet the definition of an “Environmental Professional” as defined in the ASTM standards.
We understand the ASTM standards and how to tailor those standards to each unique property. With over two decades of experience working through environmental regulatory programs, we have the insight needed to understand how best to design and conduct these investigations in the context of the identified RECs, and we utilize a multiple lines of evidence approach to select the appropriate constituents of concern for laboratory analysis.
