WSSI’s Southwest Virginia office has undergone some exciting growth over the past few years. This year is no different: we moved into our new office in Blacksburg this winter, and now we celebrate Andy Kassoff’s retirement and applaud Suzie Richert’s promotion to lead us forward!
Andy Kassoff PE, PG opened the Blacksburg office of EEE Consulting, Inc. (3e) in 2004; in 2020 he and his team joined WSSI through acquisition. He served as Director, providing leadership for WSSI’s Southwest Virginia and Richmond offices. Andy was a subject matter expert, devoted leader, and advisor to staff across engineering and geological disciplines until his May 31 retirement. After a successful career spanning 43 years we wish our colleague, mentor, and friend a long and fulfilling next chapter!

WSSI is pleased to announce that Suzie Richert, AICP, CEP is our Director of Southwest Virginia Operations. She has two decades of environmental consulting experience and joined WSSI/3e in 2016. Her professional focus in National Environmental Policy Act consultation and the project management it requires has instilled in her the importance of effective communication with all, and she mentors staff to that end. She is well prepared to lead our Southwest Virginia office into a bright future.
